Let me down
Disbelieving self,
Doubt your calling,
Mistaking His power for your weakness
And you’ll soon realize
You need Him
And there is nothing else that will do
So escape yourself
Become yourself in His arms,
Lean on Him
Trust in Him
He is your strength,
He does not play games
He does not make mistakes,
Realize you are who you are because of Him
Realize you are where you are because of Him,
He is not a deceiver waiting to pounce
No, He is the King-Priest
He is love, He is good
He has brought you this far
So, why worry about the next step?
He has lead you for a million
Have they not been awesome?
Yes, stresses and fears
Lows and valleys
Yet persevered with and by Him,
Guide me this hour my Lord
As you have throughout.
