Movements
What relevance does society have apart from the Church?
Debate with me your new ideology
And I’ll show you how old it truly is,
The hope of man replacing God
The replacing creation for the creator,
Man denying dependence and day-dreaming of independent autonomy,
All of this and more is older than Abraham
All ideologies other than the Church have failed,
Especially the poser, the false church
She is adorned with doctrinal and ethical compromises,
So don’t come shouting revolution in my ear
If there be a revolution
Let it be a true one,
A true revolving or return to the past
A revolution of reconciliation
An amending of the schism between God and man,
Now that is a radical movement
Yet it is the only true movement;
Oh Lord bring about revival on this earth
From the West to the East
Bring hearts back to you
And help all of us who know you,
To not give way to the other voices
But rather remain the faithful bride
Standing and living for the truth,
Society runs and runs searching for the answer
Let the Church be her beautiful self;
This desert needs water
This winter hungers for spring,
Turn you idolaters
See that you are the whore of Hosea
His arms will not be open forever
So give up your hopeless movements
You encrazed idol worshippers,
And embrace your creator
Let Him shape your movements and causes
Let His will be done and not yours,
Integrity that silences the foul mouth.
