Our Home
I’m home when I’m in your arms
I’ve been in arms before
One’s I did adore,
But the Lord has brought me home
Together we’ll make a home
One of our own
Rejecting the status quo
Standing with the Lord alone
We’ll discern means and ends
Living for eternal ends,
And not finite means
We’ll celebrate life
All that the Lord gives
Shedding tears when tears should be shed
Petitioning and praying as lead;
You under my wing
I kneeling to our Lord
We’ll do battle in this shadow land
Strengthening each other with unconditional love
Forgiving and Receiving with dedication
Growing in our humanity in Christ.
