Your Invisible Cage

Your Invisible Cage

Do you wish to know?
Can your third eye see?
Or do you prefer your ignorant blind state
Refusing to acknowledge your destitute fate?

Do not look at me with your childish rage
Because I proclaim to you your invisible cage;
Look the mirror square in the face
And admit life has lot its taste;
Confess this and be at the door
I’m trying to help you off the floor
Of your wretched invisible cage
To help you understand that life is not a stage,
But that this war is real,
And that bottle will not help you feel.
