Every sinner has the sin that holds
They demand heaven’s hottest coals,
Only within the fire’s eye
Will they ever be sanctified;

Make us clean
So that only Christ can be seen;

Some see wealth as a sign
Of the blessings of the divine,
They don’t know that all will burn
Only through fire will they learn;
