My Worth, My hope
That should have been me on the altar
My body should have been slain
I don’t deserve to have water on my tongue
I don’t deserve to breathe air into my lungs
So here is my worth,
That you would die for me
That you would die for me
There is my worth,
I’m now seated on high
I’m now a child who’ll never die
Because you would die for me
Because you would die for me
My flesh should have been the burnt offering
Separation, falsification were my choices
I straight forwardly I deserve eternal damnation
I straight forwardly I deserve egotistic isolation
So here is my hope,
That you died for me
That you died for me
There is my hope,
I now have imputed righteousness
I now have holy joyfulness
Because you died for me
Because you died for me.
