The Church needs your costly grace,
Where are you Mr. Edwards?
The Church needs your glory of God,

Listen on their conversation…
The young religious are coming

I think the church in America needs persecution
Yeah, there is just too much commercialism going on
Right, I mean should a pastor be making millions?
What we need is a first-century church

Young ones that lack understanding
Listen to your prophets

Hear Bonhoeffer’s call for a new monasticism
Hear Edwards’ call for affectionate disciples,
And then you will see my friends
Then you will see the church
Put these forth and watch the Spirit move,
Join Edwards in seeing God’s sovereign hand over all
Join Bonhoeffer in seeing Christ exist as community,
See these and see the church purify herself.

Stick to truth young ones
Stick to your prophets
And in doing so magnify Christ and the call of Christ.
