Gifts, talents buried in the sand
The complacent lethargy
The subtle attack of Satan
The ability to ‘just get by’,
Entertaining the self that does not know itself
Opinions with out action
Opinions with out thought
Infinite time spent on the perishable
Minute attention given to eternity,
No one pushing, no one reaching
Not to be all that man can be
As Macbeth dared,
But rather to be the being God intended
Loving and serving Him with
Heart, soul and mind.
